Coventry City of Culture – Faith – Sept 11th 2021
I’m thrilled to be working with such an inspirational team producing the 24-hour project ‘Faith‘ – a major co-production between Coventry City of Culture Trust and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Faith explores what keeps us going in tough times, and where we find hope. All through the beliefs of people of faith, and of non-religious world views, with music, theatre, installation and ritual.
There are four promenade plays that spill out across the city streets, an amazing installation connecting faith spaces by Tom Piper – a chance to glimpse inside sacred spaces with Open House and a final Ceremony of Light involving 400 community torchbearers.
